Description: This is a USGI So-Sew manufactured M65 field jacket in size Large Long. It was manufactured in the late 1980s. One of the final years for manufacture of the OD green jacket for US Military use. Because it's a late manufactured OD green jacket it has all the upgrades that come with the later M65 jackets. The shell is a blend of nylon and cotton which makes it much more wind and water resistant than the originals in all cotton. It is also warmer and more durable. This jacket also features the improved zipper that would be seen on later M65 jackets. This is a "green tag" M65. It is in incredible shape for its age. I have not been able to find any tears or notable stains. It is slightly faded but I think the faded patina looks much better than the original dark green. This is the ultimate M65 if you want one in OD green. USA made and military issued. All the benefits of the M65 field jacket but without standing out so much like the camouflage ones. This jacket can blend in as a casual jacket but still has that military style. From a clean, smoke free home. Questions welcomed.
