Description: Adorable hand painted headboard with putti would be lovely in a baby's nursery, over a larger bed, cabinet, mantle or just used like an art piece for the wall. Italian, probably made in the 50's, very nice quality hand painting in the Rococo style.Condition is good, has some paint loss, a drip stain, and some scraps and dints in the paint not wood. Has some "crackle" effects on surface like in old porcelain, but not chippy. I think because it is done in the old fresco style with layers as a base in the painting process.
