Description: Terrific, ceramic turkey planter! Vintage from the 1940s in brown (beige) and black colors with red accents. Small to medium size that makes it perfect to add to an existing collection, use for Thanksgiving decor, or in which to pot your favorite succulent plant. Most likely Morton Pottery but unmarked, as they typically were. Great gift for yourself or a friend. Highly collectible mid century planter! Planter measures 4 1/2" tall, base to the feather fan, 5" wide from front to back. Has a depth of about 3". Glazed ceramic except for the raw bottom which were never glazed. No chips, dings, cracks or crazing. Normal manufacturing marks. Some paint loss around the gizzard & side feathers. There is patina on the interior despite my cleaning it. Looks like it was really used as a planter. Teeny spot of glue on opening left edge. No maker mark. In very good vintage condition & is a wonderful piece of holiday memorabilia.CHECK OUT MY MANY OTHER VINTAGE LISTINGS BY CLICKING ON "Seller's Other Items" AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE!!!
