Description: This serviced and hyper-clean 1978 "wrist jeans" Timex is either a Marlin or a Mercury- the dial code 26164-02478 suggests Marlin. Gold toned and no decay or wear on the case, no missing plating. The stainless back case is in great condition with no pitting or decay. The crystal is clean and is easily polished for future scratches. The dial is denim-toned and textured, with gold numerals painted on, gold hand and seconds hand. This was serviced for me by JS in CA, and runs strong and keeps time (for its own as-new standards.) It is sold with the textured Timex strap, and is 35mm wide, with 18mm lugs Would look fantastic on a denim strap, which is what it was first sold with.
