Vintage Tanaka 3 HP Outboard Motor- Good Compression- Good Spark

Description: Vintage Tanaka 300 /3 hp dual automatic outboard motor. Compression tested at 130 psi and had strong spark during spark test. Started for a quick second on lubricated started fluid. Motor is mostly complete. Has corrosion here and there as seen in photos. The main plastic cowling had been repaired by previous owner with epoxy. Missing air box that attaches to carb. Recoil pull start does work but retracts the cord slowly on the last 6 inches of cord. The throttle cable is frayed at the throttle control end but still functional at this moment. Tons of good parts on this old gem or put the time in to restore it- Also have a printed out copy of original parts list I will send with it.
