Description: A tiny 5/8” Sterling silver Future Homemakers of America lapel pin circa mid 1940’s - 1950’s. This is one of the more detailed variations of this pin with windows on all visible sides of the house, sleeve cuffs, and a fanned arrangement of three leaves towards the bottom of each forearm supporting the tiny house. There’s even minute textural detail on the roof shingles and house siding. This pin has a bail on the bottom left of the reverse side, to which a Sterling chain and charm was once attached. Pin is marked LGB S on the reverse to indicate it is Sterling and was designed/ manufactured by Lloyd G. Barfour. “Future Homemakers of America - Toward New Horizons” is printed around the border. Pin back is in excellent working condition. Pin has been shined up on the front to highlight the details in the image, but the back has been left oxidized. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
