Description: Vintage Stanley No 4 Type 17 Smoothing Plane, 1942-1945 WW2 Era INV17434 Here we have a nice Stanley No. 4 smoothing plane. The blade assembly appears be original. Japaning is 95% or so. Knob and tote are in good shape with no cracks. The type 17 features, the steel tote and knob screws, rubber depth adjuster and unpainted lever cap logo. It is in very good condition. Please see the pictures. Please note that most of the items I have for sale are used/vintage goods. You should expect some wear or minor imperfections.
