Description: Here is a 1930 Restaurant Ware 3oz. Creamer, with a cute little garden fence with pink flowers, on a white background. Measures -- 3 1/4" tall, 3 3/8" long spout to handle, and 2 1/4' wide. Marked on the bottom- Black Knight Restaurant China Germany made exclusively for St. Nicholas Plaza Hotel Cincinnati,Ohio 1930. But this little creamer has an interesting story....This creamer, was made for the St. Nicholas Plaza Hotel in Cincinnati Ohio. The name was changed before this piece was ever used and the Hotel became the Netherland Plaza Hotel before opening in around 1930. This piece is dated 1930, so it was one of the oriiginal pieces made for the hotel before it opened and before the name changed. This Hotel with 800 rooms was constructed as part of the Carew Tower Complex in Cincinnati and opened for business on Jan. 28 1931. It was originally to be named St. Nicholas Plaza after a Hotel that previously had stood on that site. This creamer is unused, but with an interesting story. Enjoy.
