Description: You are purchasing a 1950's Sparton "Football" model 132 radio. The tube radio is being sold from my personal radio collection.The ivory radio is a rare one to find without some faults. This radio displays very nicely as shown in the photos. From the front this is a small chip on the ( facing) lower right hand portion of the oval. Looking down on the top of the radio in the back middle there are 3 to 5 very sort stress lines which are surface marks only. The lower back left hand side has a crack ( repaired) that runs under the bottom of the radio to the front screw. This crack is shown in the photos. This was probably caused by someone not taking care with the screw down. The chassis appears complete although I have not run the radio ( only displayed) and the radio is being sold as untested. The crack repair was done by a previous owner and certainly can be completed differently. While the radio has a few faults it displays nicely and being almost 75 years old is still a special model you seldom see.
