Description: Authentic Vintage Sonja Henie Doll by Madame Alexander. This Sonja belonged to an elderly aunt who was born in 1932 so I'm assuming she received it circa 1940. She has 2 original dresses and one nightgown along with a pants and jacket, shirt, underwear (including lace bra), 2 pair of socks, 2 pairs of shoes and ice skates and wooden skis and poles. My aunt used her novice sewing skills to make her additional clothes. She also has a straw hat. The cloth from all clothes shows age spots and wear. The shoes also show age. The doll herself is in very good shape considering her age. Her joints are intact but interior strings are loose. Her blonde hair is intact and her eye lids open and shut as they are supposed to. She was well loved and my aunt took very good care of her during her childhood. But of course, as she was boxed and stored during my aunt's adult years and this sweet Sonja shows signs of age. There is slight discoloration from brownish age spots but basically she is in very good condition for her age. Still rosey cheeks and knees.
