Description: Vintage Singer Stripper Foot ~ Spring Darning Presser & Needle Clamp Embroidery Attachment SIMANCO 86294 Fits Singer Sewing Machine Models 15, 27, 28, 66, 101, 127 & 128 NOTE: This foot will only fit early straight stitch Singer Sewing Machines which were designed to allow the entire needle clamp assembly to be removed easily by hand.~~~ Machines such as the Singer Featherweight 221 are NOT designed with a removable needle clamp (and neither is my Singer 201 used to demonstrate)! ~~~Your lovely vintage Singer Stripper Foot ~ Spring Darner & Needle Clamp assembly replaces the needle clamp (blue arrows) on your early Singer Sewing Machine. After removing your sewing machine's needle clamp and the needle, slide your Singer Stripper Foot up into place on the needle bar. Re-insert the needle up through the eye at the bottom of the Stripper Foot into the clamp and tighten the Stripper Foot's needle clamp screw (which will be at the rightof the needle bar just like the sewing machine's needle clamp). Follow your machine instructions for the correct placement of the flat side of the sewing needle. A copy of instructions is included.
