Description: Absolutely gorgeous, silver plate tea set/ service with berry finial. The set includes a teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. Each piece has a melon shaped body with ornately detailed handle and spout. The feet have a giant leaf with another smaller flower at the top. The finial is a detachable leaves and berries design. Very beautiful set. Measurements: Teapot approx 11" tall. Sugar bowl 7 1/4" tall, Creamer 7" tall, Waste bowl 5" tall Marks: Has the marks for Goldfeder Silver Co--the predecessor to Birmingham Silver Co This set is in great vintage condition. Has standard signs of use such as slight surface scratches, spots of tarnish, tiny dings, etc. Insides are in good condition with some light staining (which should come out with proper cleaning. One leg looks as if there may have been a repair (see last picture). Because I cannot vouch for the repair, the set is sold AS-IS (including if it comes off during shipping).
