Description: Hobé has been known for creating beautiful costume jewelry since the 1920s. These distinct and clever earrings are no exception! Lebanese piastre coins are set with clip-on earring backs and adorned with glossy green dangles. Light and comfortable to wear, the clips are complete with comfort-wear backs. Circa 1960. Measurements: Coin tops have a diameter of 0.78"/20mm. Dangles hang down 1.12"/28.4mm. Condition: In good vintage condition. Metal shows some discoloration and scratches, coins can be clearly read. Oxidization can be seen, but it does look like it will clear off with gentle cleaning. Earring clip backs are in fully functional condition, complete with protective plastic rollers. One earring back is slightly bent at the metal attachment beneath the protective roller. Used/Vintage. Always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique pieces in keeping with their age.
