The lids remain in vivid orange condition. Otherwise they are in perfect, vintage condition - no scuffs, scratches, etc. They are NOT in their original over-wrap plastic - I have re-wrapped them in new plastic. *If a ruler is shown in any of the photographs, it is not included in the sale of the item(s) - it is there for your size reference only.
