Description: This piece is from my own private collection and was inherited, but I don't really have occasion to wear it so am offering it up in the hope it goes to a good home! It is a unique item hand-made for a family member and is a puzzle brooch, so called because it comes apart into two pieces and it's a puzzle how to get it back together again! There are two, highly-polished circles - the outer one in 9ct yellow gold and the inner one in 9ct rose gold: the two-tone effect is very successful. The brooch is hallmarked for the Edinburgh Assay Office, 9ct gold and the date letter T for 1993 on the yellow gold part and is stamped 375 and a crown stamp on the rose gold part. The brooch fastens with a straight gold pin and a modern safety clasp. If you want a gift for someone who is hard to buy for, then this elegant, stylish, one-of-a-kind brooch will be just the thing, as you'll never find another like it!
