Description: VINTAGE SCHWINN BIKE DELUXE GENERATOR/HEADLIGHT STINGRAY RACER KRATE PANTHER 70 Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is an original Schwinn "Deluxe Generator Set" which came along with from a late 1960s Schwinn bicycle. This is a cool original REAL DEAL Schwinn "Deluxe Generator" bicycle accessory set. It includes the headlight with lens, headlight mount, wiring shown, generator with red taillight and everything shown! Will look even better with a basic detailing! It installs easily with basic tools. I have one of these on my own personal bike. It is a very cool item! This one actually looks a little better in person than it does in the pics! Fits any bike and would be appropriate for your Schwinn Typhoon, Tiger, Corvette, Jaguar, Breeze, Hollywood, Stingray, B6, DX, Monark, Holiday, Hawthorne, Spaceliner, or most any bike. The headlight is a cool round shape. It has the correct Schwinn Approved generator and taillight! Whoever designed this had a great idea. When it is lit up at night, there is a small round oval on the top that lights up. It looks cool and is kind of pleasing to the eye when riding at night. That way you do know your light is working even if it is around dusk. "Period correct" items are always best on vintage bikes. Brand new stuff on an old bike always looks out of place. NOTE, My guy tested it and it did not light up. We put no further effort into it beyond that. For display or repair. (most people dont use these anyway... they like having vintage/era correct accessories on their bikes) ALSO, the rear taillight generator stays in the "on" mode. You will have to do some tinkering so if does not rub the tire or leave it adjusted away when installed. (not a huge deal but I like to be honest) PLEASE NOTE This is not a flawless or NOS show item but will look cool on a vintage bike. The set you see in the pics is the exact one you will receive.
