Description: Offered for your consideration is a vintage Samuel Smith glass ashtray. As you may know, the Samuel Smith Old Brewery, founded 1758, is the oldest brewery in Yorkshire, England. The Smith family purchased it in the mid-19th century and, over time, also amassed over 200 traditional English pubs as an adjunct enterprise. This ashtray was brought to the States from England and I believe it dates to the 1970’s.So, please have a look at the large photos I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this hard-to-find Samuel Smith ashtray should join your collection. This Samuel Smith ashtray is in clean, excellent condition. It’s made from clear glass, with cradles big enough for large cigars, and measures 7” at widest by 1⅜” tall. There are no cracks or chips noted on the glass. Plus, the Samuel Smith graphic, complete with their Yorkshire white rose logo, is in great shape as well. Overall, it presents exceptionally well to both eye and touch! As pictured and described, this Samuel Smith glass ashtray is offered at a competitive price.
