Description: Vintage Longines 5 Star Admiral automatic wrist watch. This watch is an estate find. In terms of functionality, the watch started immediately when I picked it up off the table at an estate sale. After setting the time, I wore the watch for approximately 48 hours, not while sleeping, and the watch has run strong during that entire period. In fact, the watch ran through the night sitting on my nightstand after having worn it during the previous day. All that said, this is a vintage watch approximately sixty years old with an unknown service history. A thorough service is recommended. Cosmetically the watch shows some wear. The case has some scuffs and scratches and a few dings; the crystal is nearly scratch free; the dial also looks very clean. Please enlarge and inspect photos to get the best sense for the item's cosmetic condition. The band is GF and works as it should showing minimal signs of wear or use.
