Description: These are not individual fine art prints, but rather an advertising promotional piece produced by the Martin Company for their Bullpup missile program, with 10 REMOVEABLE (perforated at the binding) art prints. I cannot find a date on the piece, but considering that it is not Lockheed/Martin and the aircraft featured, I’d venture to guess it is from the late 50s. Definitely from early in Mr. Grinnell’s career judging by the blurb about the artist on the inside front cover. This 10” x15” piece was directed to the international market. Prints feature British Royal Fleet Air Arm N.A. 39, Royal Canadian Air Force CP-107 Argus, Belgian Air Force F-104G Starfighter, Royal Netherlands Air Force F-84F Thunderstreak, Federal German Air Force Fiat G.91, Royal Danish Air Force F-100 Super Sabre, Royal Australian Air Force Canberra B. Mk.2, Italian Air Force Fiat G.91, French Air Force Super-Mystery B-2 and Japanese Air Self Defense Force F-104C-J Starfighter. Each is printed on heavyweight stock. Specs about aircraft are on the reverse side. Last page of the booklet has details about the Bullpup Missile. I am not a professional art dealer. This has been in my collection for over 40 years. Came from a friend of mine who was a Martin employee. Was not available to the general public and may be rare. At the very least an interesting piece of Martin memorabilia. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for your interest!
