On the bronze hanger is a rendition the Brush Run Church built in 1810. To the left of the church is the year 1809 and to the right of the church is the year 1909. Suspended below the hanger by a gold and black ribbon is a shield-shaped bronze medal, 37 mm x 32 mm. "Pittsburgh October 11 to 19 1909" is inscribed across the top of the Pittsburgh Coat of Arms. Below that is a cross that contains the words "Centennial Disciples of Christ." The four leaders of the Restoration Movement are depicted around the perimeter of the cross: in the upper left is Thomas Campbell ; in the upper right is Barton W.
