The grey stoneware features a red and blue spongeband pattern and a lid with the same spongeband detail. The pail is a 3# size and stands about 5.75 inches tall without the handle, and almost 9 inches tall with it. The diameter is about 5.25 inches. This original piece was manufactured in the 1920s-30s and is in excellent condition for it's age. There is a blue paint splatter under the glaze as shown as well as a small chip on the rim as shown.
