Description: 1970s JAPAN EIDAI GRIP PLASTIC "BATBOAT" RARE EARLY 1970s Eidai Grip Japan "Batboat" Plastic Car - "motorized" Batman's boat moves on water when you pull the yellow diver on the string ( boat propeller spins when you release the string); a very rare Japanese red/white plastic batboat with red decals, light blue turrets and red Batman figure; clear plastic dome; colorful graphics of the Gotham city skyline; styled after the late 1960s classic TV series batboat without the official licensing ( similar to the popular/collectable battery-operated red/gold/blue tin batmobiles); item is complete; there are brown tape spots underneath the box that show where the dome was taped to the box ( cellophane tape has distinegrated after nearly 50+ years); backside of box shows images for the pull string action of the boat; boat is C9++ mint with no cracks, dents, scratches or marks; it measures about 5" x 1.5" x 2.5"; starboard (right) side of decal is scratched where tiny specks of the red design is missing ( see last photo); C9+ box has some edgewear and a few creases but no tears, holes, marks or cracks; no cracks on plastic dome; boxed item measures about 6" x 4" x 3"; made in Japan; 50+ year old item; item will be packed well and shipped in an insured/registered parcel with USPS delivery confirmation;
