Description: This is a vintage bird wall hanging that I bought in Canada a number of years ago from the woman who made it. I'm pretty sure the type of construction is called "punch needle." It has been hanging on my wall since then and is in excellent "like new" condition. The wall hanging measures approximately 8 1/2" tall and 8" wide. As you can see, the back has what looks like a doubled burlap edging which keeps it flat on the wall. It also has a loop of braided yarn which serves as a way to hold it on a hook or nail. It all works really well! This would be wonderful to hang on your wall or give as a gift.
