Description: This is a vintage pipecleaner (probably chenille) figure of a clown/jester. Made in Japan as shown stamped on the bottom of the base (see photo). The pipecleaners are pink for the body of the figure and black and white stripe. The base is wood. The head is spun cotton. There is a rather unusual small green wire accent on the front of the base (see photo). Not sure what that is, but it's super cool! I'm guessing this item is from the 1950's as it is similar to other such items I have seen. This is a really cool item which could be used for a unique Christmas ornament or as a great addition to your vintage toy collection. It doesn't have a hanger but you can easily put a wire or some sort of hanger at the tip to hang from your tree. I ship promptly in 1-2 business days and pack carefully.
