Description: This vintage Ken Wel Model Split Finger Glove Mitt is a true gem for any baseball fan. The mitt was officially licensed in the 1940s and endorsed by Pete "Pecky" Suder. The glove is a great representation of the Philadelphia Athletics and Kansas City Athletics teams and is a must-have for any vintage sports memorabilia collector. The glove is in its original form and is a great addition to any collection. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of baseball history, and it is a great investment for any collector. I bought this glove from a long time collector and supporter of the Philadelphia Athletics when they spring trained in Ft. Myers, FL. Unfortunately, the player signature has been worn off from use, but his baseball card was attached when I purchased the glove. It is a perfect example of an early 1940's split finger glove that was used before WW II. It has no writing or defects on the glove. There is some wear on the wristband of the glove and the Ken Wel patch is missing. Buy this glove today and have a game of catch with grandpa in the back yard. Thanks for looking at my collection.
