You are looking at a very good used Park brand model # 8666 utility tool chest from the 1960's (perhaps earlier) that is an all metal construction and comes in it's original avocado green paint scheme. This product that has stood the test of time. This harder to find tool chest is quite rugged and large measuring 20 inches across X 8 inches deep X 10 1/2 inches tall. This 86666 model chest has a top storage area along with two lower sliding drawers that automatically lock in place once the top cover is closed so nothing will spill out. A very practical design. This old utility box even still has the original price tag from K-mart when it was sold. It was marked at $45.97 which was pretty spendy back then. Bets part about buying an old vintage item is that they only go up in price. This one will as well. It's a high quality, rugged build made in America. The 86666 also has a metal carrying handle an easy to use locking mechanism on the top cover. The original Park badge looks great and completely legible. The box and shelves themselves do show typical wear. There is some surface rust on the inner shelves but these will clean up nicely with a little elbow grease. The surface rust does not affect the function of the utility case in anyway. You can get a ton of tools in this box due to it's larger size and it will darn near last forever. Just a rugged well manufactured piece. No major dents or issues with this piece. I'd rate the true cosmetic condition of this piece a conservative 6 + on a scale of 1 - 10. Shipping will be steep so feel free to drive over and pick it up if you are in the So Cal area. As with all my vintage items... I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid.
