Description: Vtg OS 1950s Japanese Pink Satin Kimono w/Full Lining & Original, Obi Sash (Never Used) Sewn Into The Inside Sleeve. 1). This Authentic Hand Made Pink Japanese Satin Kimono has survived at least 70 years; 2). This piece of art is in PRISTINE condition (inside & out) see photos; Fun Fact: Did you know that there are two" types" of Kimono? either "Kimono" or "Yukata Kimono"! The Kimono usually (although not always) has an interior lining, whereas yukata never do, and are sewn from a single layer of fabric. The Yukata is considered more of a "summer robe'. This Kimono has a FULL lining sewed in; 3). The Goldwork, (Dragons & Creatures) along w/ it's topnotch embroidery & stitching are EXTREMELY RARE & MAGNIFICENT in this condition; 4). It's a once in a lifetime find & STILL has it's ORIGINAL FOLDS! **Fun Fact #2: (1 isn't enough) What's more luxuriously expensive, one might ask? Why, it's the "Kimono", (and this one specifically) due to the fact it has a full lining. Of course as people often wear yukata in the summer — especially (but not only) for summer festivals. Because it's more casual than a kimono, it's also much less expensive. This can make it a good choice for travelers who want to buy traditional Japanese clothing, but don't want to make a big financial investment. 5). The sash is sewn directly to the inside of one of the sleeves (see photos) & appears to never have been used; 6). These photos don't do it justice. #lifegoals Imagine wearing this while your making sushi #bucketlist
