Vintage ORIGINAL Moon And Sun Beach Horizon Coastal Ocean Waves x2 SIGNED/FRAMED

Description: These gorgeous seascapes were actually purchased from two different estates and are being SOLD AS A PAIR TOGETHER. As I was looking through my painting inventory, it became obvious that they were virtually the same coastal ocean scene, painted by the same artist. One of the paintings features a beautiful technicolor sunrise as the sun peaks through peachy cotton candy clouds. The other painting captures the rising moon ascending through misty steel blue clouds. The medium is oil on canvas, mounted in a wood frame. The night painting appears to be signed "M Harry" or "M Harvey" - hard to tell which name. The day painting is not signed, or if it is, it is concealed by the frame. I could not locate any information on the artist, but there are a couple of vintage seascape pieces with the same signature available online. The sunrise coastal scene is beautifully executed in shades of turquoise, electric coral, dark smoky gray, ivory, and rust. The moonrise is rendered in varying shades of silvery blue and ivory with straw and deep forest green accent colors on the beach foliage. The frames appear to be the same, but are not exactly identical. They are wood, painted with a vanilla-ivory shade, but the night painting has a slight texture added to the paint for a "sandy" type finish. I don't know the exact age of these pieces, but would estimate the 1990's - early 2000's based on the style of frame and color scheme. The (canvas) pictures themselves are in excellent condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes. The frames have some very minimal normal wear, but no significant scratches, scuffs or gouges; the "night" painting has some small age-related dings at the base of the frame (see photos). The paintings are firmly mounted in the frames. The hanging brackets and are secure and sturdy. Please see photos for more details. These paintings are much more striking in person that the photographs convey.
