Description: Here we have an magnificent oil on canvas by listed Austrian artist Adolf D. Wegener (1891-1960). Finely painted to depict a view of Monte Pelmo in the Dolomites with wind swept pines, a typical hut and mountains on the horizon. Signed lower right "A.D. Wegener". The entire piece with beautiful custom crafted gesso frame measures 25" by 29". A bit of chipping to the frame. The image itself measures 20" by 24". This finely painted mountain landscape is in excellent condition and ready to hang and will complement any decor but could do with a good cleaning. Shipping weight, well packed, is 10 1/2 lbs.
