Description: NOS Tillotson HR 196A Carb. External pulse. I'm not sure of application. I'm leaning towards race karts, as it has no choke and no idle set screw. Also notice the holes on the throttle plate. Going to have a high idle like this. May be for exotic fuels? Also has a warning label not to be used on a manned aircraft It could be converted to standard snowmobile by drilling a hole for idle screw and changing the throttle plate. I checked one over. It has standard throttle shaft, not an O ring shaft. It also looks pretty standard inside, and not made for alcohol use. I didn't of coarse remove the welch plugs. I also want to add that the welch plugs look to be epoxied in from the factory.
