Mu-tron Phasor simulates a rotating, moving, spacial sound that was once obtained only mechanically with speakers or with expensive studio equipment. It gives you greater depth, intensity and variation than other electronic devices because of new circuitry with much superior dynamic range and uniformity of characteristics. And without distortion. What does the Mu-tron Phasor do? How does it work? Every musical signal is made of a number of different spectral components. The Mu-tron Phasor periodically varies the length of delay of a time-delayed signal and re-combines it with the original signal. This is the effect known as “phasing”. It is the result of the auditory sensation of a sweeping series of reinforcements and cancellations of the frequency components of the signal itself.
