Vintage Mosser Bear Custard Handpainted 1980's

Description: Item produced by Mosser Glass, Cambridge, Ohio. Mosser "M" stamped on rear near the bottom. Custard glass item handpainted with a bee on his/her paw. BEAUTIFUL GLOW with UV light - see pics. The regular offering of the Mosser Bear was not handpainted. This handpainted one was made in the 1980's in the same timeframe as the others but was a special piece and only made once as far as I know (no idea how many were made). This Bear is no longer being produced by Mosser Glass and I do not know in how many colors or for how long it was produced. If anyone has this information I would love to hear from you because I have my own personal collection of these and wonder which of the later colors I may have missed. This Bear weighs just under one lb and might also be used as a paperweight. This is brand new stock from the 1980’s packed and stored until now.
