Description: A beautiful, interesting, and scarce vintage 10-inch blue and white early 1900's plate made in England 'Expressly for New England Furniture & Carpet Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota'. It is a must-have for any collector of souvenirs and travel memorabilia. Don't miss out on the chance to own this beautiful piece of Minneapolis history. Scenic images capture the essence of the city, including Minnehaha Falls, The Viaduct (now called the Stone Arch Bridge) and Flour Mills along the Mississippi River, the 1829 stone Block House at Fort Snelling, the Mississippi River near Soldier's Home, Pillsbury Hall which is the second oldest building at the University of Minnesota which was then called Minnesota State University, the old Minneapolis Public Library building, and the West Hotel which was demolished in 1940. Note that there is a small chip on the rim that is most evident on the underside of the plate. Otherwise, it is in beautiful condition! Please see the photos! The plate is very shiny and displays beautifully.
