Description: Vintage Miniature KJV New Testament Bible Sealskin Seal Skin Leather RARE L@@K🌟 You are Bidding on a Vintage Miniature New Testament bound in Yapped Sealskin in the Authorized King James Version. It is highly collectible because of the size and the Sealskin leather covers and in a remarkably good condition. It fits in the palm of your hand. Undated, this Eyre & Spottiswood edition is comparable to the David Bryce & Son or Nimmo, Hay & Mitchell editions printed around 1900. Printed at Downs Park Road, Hackney, N.R., London, England. Pearl Print, 128 mo., with Art Gilt Page Edges (Red under Gold). The print is very clear on what looks like very opaque India paper but that is not stated inside. Sealskin was banned for these bindings long ago and treasures like this are seldom seen. It appears to be leather lined but that is not stated. Was likely never used and just stored over the years. Don't miss out on this scarce gem. You may never see another one. Stored for over a century waiting for you. Condition: Likely gifted and never used. The Sealskin Covers are in remarkably near perfect condition. The binding is in great condition. The ribbon doesn’t appear to have been moved since production. There are no markings in the text. The art-giIt pages are near mint. The pages are bright and lay flat with no bent corners. Two former owner’s inscriptions on the front blank free end papers. Opens with small gap at the top of the contents page, but the binding is secure and there are no threads showing. The original box has wear (See Pictures and Description.
