Description: Little piece of my personal history here, as well as a now defunct motorcycle race. This is a T-shirt from the 1981 22nd Annual Mile High Enduro motorcycle race in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. For those not aware, enduros are timed events, somewhat like a car rally but in a strange way, and are run cross country, not on pavement. This event was one of two run by the Prairie Dawg Motorcycle Club, which does still exist. Shirt is a Sport-T brand, cotton-poly mix, and a mens medium (38-40). I purchased this shirt there at the race, put it on and wore it through the race (habit of mine at the time for luck). In good condition with very little wear, as I grew out of it quickly. No blown out seams, fabric is nicely green, only the slightest cracking of the silkscreen. As far as I can tell, the shirt is excellent except for two small snags on the lower front just above them hem (see photo 5), and a pencil eraser sized grease stain near the hem on the left (see photo 6). The race made it to 50 years, but is now sadly gone. Your chance to own a really nice specimen of an actual vintage dirt bike shirt and souvenir of what was a very cool race.
