Vintage Mikimoto Pearl Choker Necklace 14.75" 925 Clasp (S Mark) 5mm

Description: A vintage Mikimoto pearl choker style necklace. The necklace has 67 pearls that are about 5 mm in size plus there is a smaller pearl on the top of the sterling silver clasp that is about 2.5 mm. When the necklace is closed with the silver clasp the length of the necklace is about 14.75" long. The original Mikimoto green velvet box is included that has a gold tag stamped with the signature "M" on one side and on the backside the gold tag has "Genuine Mikimoto Pearls" stamped on it. Also included are the original booklets that came with the pearl necklace, one is titled "Things to remember for admirer of MIKIMOTO cultured pearls. The second booklet is titled "Your Guarantee Mikimoto Pearls" which has a page with certificate #50728, which certifies these are genuine Mikimoto pearls. It also has several pages on the history of the Mikimoto pearl business with their cultured pearls. There is also a page on how to care for your pearls. This necklace is in excellent condition. This item will be sent to the GIA in Carlsbad, CA (by eBay) for authentication before the buyer receives it. Comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.
