Description: Vintage Meito "ME12 (F&B Japan)" DINNER PLATE ~10", Porcelain China, Gold Trim. Dimensions: 9 7/8" Diameter x 7/8" High. After World War II and during the Korean War, Meito, Noritake, and others mass produced a wide variety of china patterns. Because they were produced so quickly, many patterns didn’t have names.Excellent Near-Mint condition - NO chips, cracks, crazing, scuffs, repairs, or dust. These plates came from a high-end estate sale in Eastern Washington, and appear to have been previously stored or displayed in an enclosed cabinet. Trivial or no utensil marks noted. May have trivial, minor wear or manufactured thin spots on the gold metallic trim. Very slight natural, normal porcelain manufacturing imperfections, if any. Photos are of one of the actual plates being offered. IMPORTANT: Due to the metallic trim, this Meito fine porcelain china dinnerware is not microwave safe, and not oven safe. Additionally, you may not want to run them through the dishwasher, as the gold trim and decorations can fade or react to high heat. Hand-washing recommended.
