Description: This is quite a find! We have available, a Vintage SUMATRAN Batak Shaman Ceremonial Medicine Lime Container. It is hand-carved, made of Ebony . The engraving on the body is a calendar, and contained medicinal lime. The carving is absolutely exquisite, and very detailed. The container is held to the front part of the body with a wooden pin. This is in exceptional vintage condition. One will note, that there has been small damage to the rear knee. It is approximately 2mm. However, it does not detract from such a unique, and special piece. The measurements are 8 1/2" long, 7" tall, and 1 1/2" wide. We are currently shipping within the continuous US.
