Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Vintage Lighting. Beautiful MCM tall Rembrandt table lamp with marble and brass base. Maroon painted metal lamp with brass and gold tone accents. Pierced cabriolet footed brass base with marble. Mid Century Modern piece that dates to the 1950s time period . Circa 1950. Tall and ornate. No Shade Included (would have had the small milk glass shade (easily replaced). Selling as pictured with lamp as it is pictured (no glass shade, no light bulb). Maroon was repainted with thick textured paint showing brush strokes (a little rough looking up close, several pics showing paint). Working condition. Original cord appears in fair to good condition. As with all our electrical pieces we do test, but highly suggest having an electrician check it out as many times the cords etc.. are pretty old. Switch turns freely. Vintage. Over 50 years old. Condition is fair to good for age. Working condition. Was painted maroon. Paint is rough and brush strokes show. Minor wear on gold tone and brass from age. Selling as pictured (lamp only as pictured). Lacking 1 screw that would have held the milk glass shade. The lamp has a great form. Ready to use or restore the paint yourself. Measures about 21 1/4" tall to top of bulb fitting . NO GLASS SHADE. Please look at pictures as they are considered part of description.
