Vintage MCM 1959-1960 Westclox "Legend" 425-L Mahogany Wind-Up Alarm Clock WORKS

Description: This vintage Westclox "Legend" alarm clock is a true gem from the mid 20th century. It was manufactured from late 1959 into the early 1960s. Made of beautiful solid mahogany wood, this mid-century modern jewel features an analog display, raised gold tone Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock (with raised markers in between for each hour), gold tone hands, alarm indicator, feet and bezel. Condition is overall very good! Easy to wind. Keeping great time. Alarm works, though bell is a little muted. Cosmetically, also in very good condition. One small chip appears in the wood on the front left side (near the bottom), and there is usual wear to the edges that you would expect from a piece this age. Expected color age is evident to the bezel and feet. On the back top left corner, the original owner wrote her name in black marker. It looks like someone has tried to rub it out, but it is still evident. Please use eBay's zoom feature to get a close up view. Measures 4" tall x 5 3/4" wide (at its widest point).
