Description: This is an exceptionally rare early 1970s Longines QWR women’s wristwatch (although equally suited as unisex). Model number HT1986-0961.Features a mother of pearl dial, roman numeral numbering, and a gold plated case and band. Great Quartz ETA 280.002 Five Jewel movement with a new battery, keeps time very well. Band shows minimal sag, case has plating peeling in spots on the underside (see photos) but not visible on wrist, to be expected for a 50 year old watch. Case is 22mm wide (less crown) and 37mm long. Band including case is 20cm long plus 2 extra links.What makes it rare? On top of a hard-to-find and frankly beautiful watch, it includes both inner and outer boxes, the owners card, the owners manual, and 2 extra links for a total of 8 links of adjustability for the watch. Hands down the most inclusive watch for the money.50 years later, this would still make an excellent gift to yourself or someone special, especially with the holidays coming up.
