Description: Vintage JUMBO Swiss Broad Arrow Automatic Dive Watch + Blue Bakelite Bezel + BOR Bracelet Here’s a very rare Jumbo 1960s Swiss Lider dive watch with rare blue Bakelite bezel and automatic ETA movement in exceptional original condition. This one rivals my long-departed Fifty Fathoms for being the best looking dive watch from my collection. The size is approximately 39mm in width without the crown – jumbo for the era – and 40mm with the crown. The rotating blue bezel moves as it should in both directions. There is gold gilt embedded in the bezel…providing a unique look with the dark blue. The dial is all original black dial with “Eterna Kontiki-style” hour markers, with Arabic numerals at the four corners inset into triangles. The date window is at 3 pm. The original crystal is a high dome as noted in pictures. Very rare to still have original acrylic in excellent condition. The best part of this watch, though, is the amazing original broad arrow handset and lollipop seconds hand. It’s very reminiscent of the Omega 300 dive watch of the same time period, but even nicer to my eyes. The watch was last serviced in 2023 and is running well. Like every vintage timepiece, the new owner should plan to service at regular intervals if desired for a daily watch. About Me I am a private collector who rotates my collection to keep things fresh.
