Description: Vintage Japanese Woodblock Prints Tokuriki Tomikichiro 12 Months of Kyoto **Missing January** Twelve Months of Kyoto Uchida Woodblock Printing Co., Ltd., circa 1950 (11) color woodblock prints on paper 11 5/8 x 10 1/4” CONDITION: There is water damage to a couple of these prints. The portfolio is completely damaged and falling apart These prints were purchased in the early 60s These have been in my family’s possessions since then. They sustained some water/moisture damage There are no rips or tears, no mildew marks to prints Please review and ENLARGE to see condition Overall good condition for age. Tomikichiro Tokuriki was born March 22, 1902, in Kyoto, Japan. The first teacher of the young Tomikichiro was his grandfather. Later he entered the Kyoto School of Arts and Crafts with a two-year preparatory class and four years of regular training, and later a three year training at the Kyoto College of Art. He graduated from Kyoto Art College in 1923. Tomikichiro Tokuriki died in 1999 in Kyoto.
