Description: This is a set of "Tokuri (sake bottle) and sake cup" from "Hyakunin Isshu" (100 people's poem). It includes the popular poem "Murasaki Shikibu" from "To You Who Shines". This is a very rare item with illustrations of waka poems by Yamabe no Akahito, Ono no Komachi, Ariwara no Narihira, Murasaki Shikibu, and Sarumaru Dayu. It was made by a sake brewery in Tsushima City, Aichi Prefecture during the Showa period, and I think it was sold as sake for celebrations. It does not contain alcohol. It does not have a cork stopper. The hemp string has a nice flavor.
