This bowl features a gorgeous hand painted pattern with leaves and moths. The bowl is encased in a brass metal backing. The marking on the back of this bowl is "ACF" in the center, which is surrounded by "Decorated in Hong Kong". This marking is consistent with bowls and other porcelain which were produced in Japan and then sent to Hong Kong for the ornate and beautifully hand-painted scenes. These markings date this bowl to the 1960's through early 1970's. This vintage porcelain bowl is in good vintage condition. There are no cracks, chips, or visible crazing. The hand painted surface is bright and the colors are vibrant. The brass casing on the back of the bowl is all original, including the patina which as accumulated over the past 60+ years. This bowl is 9-3/8 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches tall.
