Description: Large marked Japanese pottery vase with shiny black glaze and design done in gold white and orange. The piece features a volcano with a bird on a tree branch which is in flower. The top opening is silver. The edge does have a small area of paint loss. The vase has no chips, cracks or major damage. The piece is 9 1/4" tall with an opening at the top of 2 1/2" and a base of 3 1/2". It does have some small areas of black paint loss - see last 4 photos. Please see photos for condition specifics.
