Description: This listing is for a vintage child kimono robe. It is a fabulous bright colored print which I believe is probably from the 1950s. I think the print is of a bird of paradise, but I am not sure. It was obviously handmade and is very well made except that it was never finished! The right shoulder area has a pleat in it. The left side from the collar to the shoulder is flat and does not have a pleat. Therefore, it makes the left side from the collar to the shoulder much wider than the other side. See photos. I have included all measurements in the photos. I am not sure of the fabric it appears to be padded, I guess because it is completely lined. The sash on the left side needs to be stitched down. There is a tiny hole right next to the seam on the left side about halfway down. See photos. It has some soiled spots, mostly on the inside lining. See photos. It really needs to be dry cleaned. This really is a darling little piece and you could either finish it if you are so inclined or use the fabric for some thing else.
