Description: Vintage Hawaiian Maui Sake Brewery Co. Ltd. Kula, Maui, Green Half Gallon Sake Bottle Embossed on the Base "Maui Sake Brewery Co. Ltd. w/ Owens Illinois Dating 1936" & on foot "Half Gallon." Company incorporated in 1934 (the year after repeal of Prohibition in 1933) in the little town of Kula in Up-Country Maui, Hawaii and began production of their hand made sake for sale and distribution in 1935. Two brands (Hinode Masamune & Aloha Masamune) were produced over the next 7 years until the brewery's closure in 1942. Good Used Condition- No Cracks or Chips. Does have Dirt, Stains, Haze, Scratches & Fleabites Measures 14 1/4" Tall X 4 1/2" Diameter Base
