Description: Vintage Hallmark Christmas Greeting Card ARTIST SAMPLE. Judging by the style, I’m thinking these are from the 1950s. The larger card on the left is the artist sample (stamped on the back) and I believe the one on the right is the version eventually released by hallmark in stores. Artist samples from this time period are very rare. It was purchased directly from the family of a former Hallmark greeting card artist who designed the card himself. These would be presented to him as samples of what the card will look like once in went into production. These don’t come up for sale often. (UB)
