Description: This is a wonderful exhibition poster from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art entitled "JAPAN" which took place from Sept 7 to Nov 3 in 1974. The museum is located approximately 25 miles north of Copenhagen, Denmark and was established in 1958 as a contemporary museum that is still one of the top ten tourist attractions in the country today. The poster itself is of mostly Japanese women on the water in boats and it has a center line which I assume is to mimic a Japanese screen room divider. I have no idea who the artist is but the painting obviously has an old world feel to it and the colors are quite exceptional as well. It is quite big at "29 x 41" so it may have to be taken out of the frame for shipping purposes. All in all I think it's a beautiful representation of the very lovely country known as Japan from a long ago exhibition at a world class museum!
